The Vatican City

I'm watching CNN now and they are showing news on The Pope, John Paul II. They say he's near death. I'm not a Catholic and I have no problem in gay marriages or birth control pills, still it is sad to see him in that condition. I nearly get to meet him when I was visiting the Vatican City many years ago where he was schedule to come out to bless the followers. But he was away in his summer house on a summer vacation! Instead I get to see Michelangelo's awesome Jugdement Day in the Sistine Chapel. That was one hell of an experience.

I hope he is not in pain.
